An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Aircraft maintenance technician is a licensed person who carries out and certifies aircraft maintenance. The license is recognised by the International civil Aviation. Organization. The programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to gain the skills and experience that will allow them to perform maintenance work on large commercial aircraft, such as Airbus and Boeing. Aircraft Maintenance engineer or Technicians are employed throughout the aviation industry. Technicians inspect, maintain, modify and repair air-frames, engines and avionics. There is also a large amount of sheet metal repairs and corrosion removal on air-frames during hangar visits. the airline industry will see solid growth over the next 20 years. As much the passenger traffic increase the airline will induct more aircraft to meet the demand which will require more aircraft maintenance personnel. Program Description:

Learners will follow a course of training that will lead to their attainment of the internationally recognised

EASA Part 66 Category ‘A’ Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in a career in the aviation maintenance industry. The programme is designed to bring students through the fundamentals of aircraft system design, human factors, maintenance practices and aviation legislation. On successful completion of the traineeship, participants will be capable of carrying out maintenance work in large passenger aircraft.

Program consist of
  • Theory based Training/Assessment
  • Practical Assessment
  • Work Experience
  • At least 20 years must be completed

Duration of the program – 2 years

Training location – Ireland

50% theoretical and 50% practical

Theory consist of 12 module with multiple choice examination

Practical consist of 3072 hours experience

Entry requirements
  • Must be completed Higher secondary School education with Maths and physics (or) 3
  • year Diploma in Aircraft maintenance ( or) under graduation from recognised university
  • Have good numerical ability
  • Have an aptitude for working in a mechanical environment
  • Strong in written/verbal skill
